Summary

A new multiple locus variable number of tandem repeat analysis (MLVA) method offers a more discriminatory genotyping approach for Streptococcus agalactiae strains than traditional MLST. This rapid and cost-effective technique enhances epidemiological surveillance and outbreak analysis.
