Ornidazole can cause drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis in women. Drug withdrawal may not be enough for recovery, suggesting immunosuppressive therapy may be needed for this liver injury.

Implications:
- Ornidazole can induce autoimmune hepatitis.
- Discontinuation of ornidazole may not lead to recovery.
- Immunosuppressive therapy may be necessary for ornidazole-induced autoimmune hepatitis.
