Abstract:
This article provides a brief overview of a new program from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) called the Effective Healthcare Program. This program has supported more than 70 research projects since its inception and published more than 50 products, including guides for clinicians and patients that provide a comprehensive analysis of treatment options for common, chronic illnesses. Research summaries are also available for mobile devices.
