Background:

  • Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a severe condition impacting patients despite treatment.
  • Understanding CRSwNP pathophysiology is crucial for developing new therapies.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate protein abundance differences in sinonasal mucosa of CRSwNP patients versus healthy controls.
  • To utilize proteomics for novel insights into CRSwNP.

  • Case-control study at a tertiary-care academic medical center.
  • Sinonasal mucosa harvested from 3 CRSwNP patients and 3 controls.
