Summary

Inflammation is more significant in neoplastic colon polyps (adenomas) than hyperplastic/serrated polyps. Adenoma size correlates with inflammation, with larger polyps showing more acute and chronic inflammation.

  • To compare inflammation levels between TVPs and HSPs.
  • To explore the relationship between polyp size and inflammation in both polyp types.
