Serum lipids in hypothyroidism: Our experience.

Screening lipid profiles is justified in hypothyroidism patients. Elevated thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels significantly correlate with increased total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, indicating a link between hypothyroidism and altered lipid profiles.
