Pattern Visual Evoked Potentials in Patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus

Pattern visual evoked potentials (PVEP) show longer P100 wave latency in diabetic patients, indicating early retinal ganglion cell damage. This method may detect prediabetic retinopathy before visible signs appear.
