Summary

Open urethroplasty has limited adverse effects on erectile function, with many patients recovering function post-surgery. Anterior urethroplasty, particularly bulbar anastomosis, may slightly increase erectile dysfunction risk, while trauma is a key factor in posterior urethroplasty.
