Summary

Quantitative diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) with apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) mapping accurately differentiates soft tissue masses (STMs). This non-contrast MRI technique uses threshold ADC values to distinguish between cystic and solid STMs with high specificity.
