Researchers developed novel ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO) nanoparticles for enhanced cancer diagnosis using MRI. These targeted nanoparticles show promise as advanced MRI contrast agents for detecting αvβ3 integrin expression in tumors.
