Abstract:
98 Marmor unicompartmental prostheses were inserted between 1974 and 1992. 44 were done for gonarthrosis with genu valgum and 24 with genu varum. 54 were in the lateral femoro-tibial compartment and 44 in the medial compartment. There was a minimum follow-up of 12 months. Using the International Knee Society Score there were 72% good and excellent results. 11 patients had reoperations mainly for tibial loosening. Our study confirmed the good clinical results with this prosthesis whose complications arise from the tibial component.
