IL10 polymorphisms associated with Behçet's disease in Chinese Han

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) gene polymorphisms are associated with Behçet's disease (BD) risk in the Chinese Han population. This finding suggests IL-10 may be a susceptibility gene for BD.

- A specific haplotype (GACC) and meta-analysis results further supported the association of rs1800871 and rs1518111 with BD.
Conclusions:
- IL10 gene polymorphisms are associated with Behçet's disease susceptibility in the Chinese Han population.
- The findings indicate that IL10 may function as a susceptibility gene for BD in this demographic.
