[Various methods for the diagnosis of allergy in pediatrics. Some correlations between different tests]
1Unité des Maladies Respiratoires et Allergiques de l'Enfant et de l'Adolescent, CHU Rangueil, Toulouse.
Abstract:
We studied the correlations between the different methods of diagnosis of the immediate allergy, IgE-dependent, in two current cases of pediatric allergology. In the mites allergy, the best correlation is observed between the skin tests (IDR) and the Rast. During the food allergy, first we found the best correlations between the prick-tests (PT) and the oral challenge (TPO), then between the prick-tests and the Rast. In these two studies, we got no further element to the diagnosis from the direct test of human basophil degranulation (TDBH).
