Association between morphometric variables and nocturnal desaturation in sickle-cell anemia

Purpose of the Study:

• To investigate the association between specific morphometric variables, namely cervical circumference (CC) and abdominal circumference (AC), and the presence of nocturnal desaturation.
• To explore correlations between oral cavity measurements and nocturnal desaturation in children and adolescents with SCA.

• Eighty-five children and adolescents with SCA underwent baseline polysomnography.
