24/7/365 in-house radiologist coverage: effect on resident education

Programs with 24/7/365 radiologist coverage improve report turnaround times but may negatively impact resident education and autonomy. This impacts the on-call experience for radiology residents.

Conclusions:
- While 24/7/365 coverage enhances report turnaround times, it may compromise resident education.
- Negative resident feedback primarily cited a loss of autonomy under 24/7/365 coverage.
