[Experience in the determination of R-proteins in blood serum]

The blood serum R-protein was titered in 283 normal subjects to estimate the methodologic and other factors influencing the results. Among these factors is the albumin brand, which suggests that the test be made with physiologic saline. R-protein titers are different in the capillary and venous blood; in the majority of the examinees they vary in the morning and in the evening.
