Summary

Autofluorescence imaging reveals acute changes in fluorophore metabolism in acute idiopathic maculopathy (AIM). These changes in retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) autofluorescence resolve quickly, supporting AIM as a self-limited inflammatory condition.
