Human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) offer a sustainable source for generating human hepatocyte-like cells (hESC-HHs and iPSC-HHs) for drug screening and disease modeling. Advanced microfabrication techniques can enhance their function for future clinical applications.
