[Timing the discharge of the elderly patient]
Abstract:
The discharge of an elderly hospitalised patient is envisaged as soon as they are admitted and even before they arrive. When a request to admit a patient is submitted to the admission commission, the patient's living conditions and routines are closely examined, as they determine the conditions for their discharge and therefore indirectly the timing of the decision to discharge them
