Carotid Plaques Correlates in Patients With Familial Hypercholesterolemia

Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) patients with carotid plaques had higher apoB and lower HDL-C. ApoB, blood pressure, and waist-hip ratio were linked to carotid intima-media thickness, indicating subclinical atherosclerosis.
