- P. aeruginosa, S. pneumoniae, and S. aureus were most prevalent.
Conclusions:
- Dentures can serve as reservoirs for respiratory pathogens.
- This increases the risk of aspiration pneumonia, particularly in the elderly.
- Improved denture hygiene is recommended to mitigate respiratory infection risks.
