[Treatment of intra-abdominal abscesses by percutaneous drainage under ultrasonographic control]

Four cases of intraabdominal abscesses were treated by percutaneous drainage under USG control. Three patients were cured, one died of the underlying disease of exceptionally severe course. Difficulties encountered in this method are discussed.
