Background:

Palatally displaced canines (PDCs) affect 2% of the Swedish population, with 85% showing palatal displacement.
Current interceptive treatment involves deciduous canine extraction, followed by monitoring for spontaneous eruption.

Purpose of the Study:

To develop a reliable 3D imaging method for measuring PDC position.
To assess children's experience with deciduous canine extraction.
