Summary
Mandibular ramus bone grafts are useful for maxillofacial reconstruction but can rarely cause pathologic mandible fractures. Patients must avoid hard foods for 4 weeks post-surgery to prevent this rare complication.

- Strict postoperative instructions advising patients to avoid hard foods for at least 4 weeks are crucial for preventing this complication.
