Urothelial Dysfunction and Chronic Inflammation in Diabetic Patients with Overactive Bladder

Diabetic patients with overactive bladder (OAB) show urothelial dysfunction and inflammation, but diabetes mellitus does not worsen OAB inflammation severity. Muscarinic receptor M3 is elevated in OAB patients with or without diabetes.
