A case of multiple urate deposition, without gouty attacks, in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus

We describe urate deposition on the hands and feet of a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus. The coexistence of systemic lupus erythematosus and tophaceous gout is very rare. Our patient did not experience gouty attacks and demonstrated a peculiar skin manifestation that has not been reported previously.
