Synchronous multicentric small hepatocellular carcinomas: defining the capsule on high-frequency intraoperative

High-frequency intraoperative ultrasonography (IOUS) can define capsules in small hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs). Distinctly nodular HCCs, even subcentimeter ones, show detectable capsules with varied appearances on IOUS.
