[Mucoceles of the maxillary sinus. Report of a case]

Mucoceles are retention cysts of the paranasal sinuses, specially developed on the anterior ethmoid and frontal sinuses and seldom seen on the maxillary cavity, as was the reported case. The authors underline the bone deformities sometimes seen and the difficulties when interpreting the meaning of x-ray records, both circumstances leading, from time to time, to the suspicion of a malignant tumor.
