Background:

  • To investigate the long-term effects of neonatal melamine ingestion on renal and vascular function in adulthood.
  • To determine if maternal melamine exposure during pregnancy leads to renal dysfunction in offspring.

  • Functional studies of rat renal arteries and renal blood flow measurement using functional magnetic resonance imaging.
