Adrenaline, Noradrenaline and Dopamine Level Estimation in Depression : Does it Help?

Estimating catecholamine levels, including adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine, before and after electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in depressed patients showed no significant clinical utility. These neurotransmitter levels did not correlate with depression severity, indicating they are not reliable biomarkers for treatment response.
