Interictal heart rate in patients with epilepsy

Patients with epilepsy on antiepileptic drugs show higher heart rates (HR) compared to untreated individuals. Regular electrocardiography (ECG) monitoring is recommended for epilepsy patients due to the link between brain and heart activity.
