Selection and implementation of Dr. Martha Rogers' nursing conceptual model in an acute care setting

The Nursing Service of the San Diego Veteran's Administration Medical Center identified the need to implement a nursing conceptual model as a basis for practice. The process of choosing and implementing Dr. Martha Rogers' conceptual model is discussed and examples of clinical application are included.
