When the nurse knows and the patient does not: waiting for a diagnosis

Nursing has always focused on caring for the total client and not merely treating the disease. Yet there has always been this small period of time to which we have not directed our attention. With the introduction of the nursing process to this period of waiting, we continue to approach holistic nursing.
