Polyurethane Implants in 2-Stage Breast Reconstruction: 9-Year Clinical Experience

Polyurethane (PU) foam implants significantly reduce capsular contracture (CC) risk in breast reconstruction. Radiation therapy increases CC risk, but PU implants mitigate this effect, even with radiotherapy.
