Summary

123I-N-isopropyl-p-iodoamphetamine (IMP) single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) showed reduced uptake in affected brain areas of infants with acute infantile hemiplegia. This imaging technique is valuable for diagnosis and prognosis assessment.
