Background:

Bedside report is an evidence-based practice designed to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.

Purpose of the Study:

To enhance nurse compliance with bedside report procedures.
To elevate patient satisfaction scores through improved communication.
To evaluate the impact of a standardized change management strategy on bedside reporting.

Main Methods:

A quasi-experimental design was employed, comparing pre- and post-implementation data.
Patient satisfaction was measured using returned surveys from two hospital units.
Nurse compliance with bedside report was assessed before and after the intervention.

Main Results:

Nurse compliance with bedside report significantly increased post-intervention.
Patient satisfaction scores showed a marked improvement on both intervention units.
