The role of tuberculosis in COPD

A history of tuberculosis (TB) significantly impacts chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by increasing hospitalizations and worsening respiratory function. While overall mortality was similar, TB history led to earlier COPD diagnosis and death.
