SOX10 immunohistochemistry in sweat ductal/glandular neoplasms

SOX10 immunohistochemistry shows variable results in sweat gland tumors. While useful for differentiating some adnexal tumors from basal cell carcinoma, SOX10 does not reliably distinguish eccrine from apocrine origins.
