Summary

The "delayed vessel sign" on multiphase CT angiography (CTA) reliably identifies distal anterior circulation occlusions in acute ischemic stroke. This technique significantly improves diagnostic accuracy, confidence, and interpretation speed compared to single-phase CTA.
