Coagulation profile following liver resection: Does liver cirrhosis affect thromboelastography?

Liver resection patients often show a hypercoagulable state, regardless of cirrhosis. Thromboelastography reveals similar coagulation profiles in both cirrhotic and non-cirrhotic livers post-surgery.
