Purpose of the Study:

To propose a collaborative evaluation framework for biometric connected devices in healthcare.
To address the limitations of existing methods by integrating multiple assessment dimensions.

Main Methods:

Developed a six-dimensional framework: medical validity, technical reliability, usability, ergonomy, legal compliance, and accuracy.
Utilized a self-administered questionnaire for stakeholder (patients, professionals, payers, manufacturers) assessment.
Conducted a case study on telemonitoring for heart failure patients to validate the framework.

Main Results:

The framework effectively assessed biometric connected devices across key dimensions.
Stakeholder input provided comprehensive evaluation data.
The case study demonstrated the framework's utility as a decision-making tool.
