Macular phototoxicity after corneal cross-linking

Corneal cross-linking (CXL) for keratoconus may cause mild, subclinical changes in macular function and thickness, as indicated by multifocal electroretinography and OCT. These effects appear temporary and do not impact visual acuity or show vascular abnormalities.
