Periotic sensory dysfunction via postauricular approach after otitis media surgery.

Nearly half of patients undergoing otitis media surgery experienced periotic sensory dysfunction, most commonly in the postauricular area. While most symptoms resolved within a year, pain recovered faster than numbness.
