Do Strike Patterns or Shoe Conditions have a Predominant Influence on Foot Loading?

Running strike patterns significantly impact foot loading more than shoe conditions. Forefoot strike patterns (FFS) may prevent heel impact but increase forefoot pressure, posing potential injury risks.

- While forefoot strike patterns can mitigate the impact forces associated with rearfoot strike patterns, they may increase the risk of metatarsus/phalanx injuries due to prolonged peak forefoot pressure.
