Abstract:
Nutritional prevention of age-related macular degeneration. Age-related macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in industrialized countries. Nowadays, the treatments of this chronic pathology do not make it possible to avoid the visual loss in the long term. Nutritional prevention thus remains an indispensable means to delay the consequences of this pathology. This article reports the various nutrients that have proved their worth in the prevention of AMD.
