Identification of Heterotopic Ossification Using 18F-NaF PET/CT

Heterotopic ossification (HO) is abnormal bone growth in soft tissues. Fluorine-18 sodium fluoride Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (F-NaF PET/CT) effectively detects this extraosseous calcification.
