One of the common DNA damages is the chemical alteration of single bases by alkylation, oxidation, or deamination. The altered bases cause mispairing and strand breakage during replication. Summary

A novel transoral approach using intraoral ultrasound-guided wire localization enabled complete removal of deep parotid lobe lesions. This minimally invasive technique reduces the morbidity associated with traditional mandibulotomy for parotid gland tumors.
