Abstract:
Studies of the number of immunocompetent cells with receptors to anthrax protective antigen in the blood of hamadryas baboons infected with Bacillus anthracis carried out by the rosette-formation technique have shown a statistically significant increase in the number of these cells in the animals as early as 12 hrs after their infection.
