Characteristics of Mid-Frequency Sensorineural Hearing Loss Progression

Mid-frequency sensorineural hearing loss (MFSNHL), or "cookie bite hearing loss," is uncommon. Most patients with MFSNHL show stable hearing thresholds over nearly four years, indicating minimal progression.
