Ocriplasmin treatment led to significant improvements in self-reported visual function for patients with vitreomacular adhesion/traction, as measured by the National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (VFQ-25). More patients receiving ocriplasmin reported meaningful visual function gains compared to sham treatment over 24 months.
